Latest Updates from Our Project:

Final Chance to Update S&H Info
over 5 years ago – Tue, Oct 16, 2018 at 03:12:16 PM

Just a final update: if you need to change your shipping address, you have until Thursday to do so. Email me at [email protected] with the name the order was placed under and the new address if you do.

If your address is the same as when you when you filled out your shipping form, there is no need to update.

Backerkit Update #3 (or #4...I don't remember)
over 5 years ago – Wed, Oct 10, 2018 at 02:20:43 AM

Hey guys, here's the latest update:

-I just got confirmation my new shipment will be in next week. I'll begin shipping once they arrive. If anyone needs to change their delivery address, you have a week to do so. I'll be locking all of that info for shipping next week, and since I'll be automating most of the postage, you will not be able to change it after that.

-Digital copies will be sent out via email once I get every package out the door. I'm trying to keep everyone getting their items as close as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.

-There is going to be one question I know that is going to be asked of me when the book is received: Why are there blank pages between one of the stories? This was intentional, but because of how I had to format this updated version of the book for the new printer, there are more pages than I originally intended. The original book was 76 pages. However, the new printer suggested I do multiples of 8 (not 4). Why...I don't know. So 4 more pages were added. I won't go into depth about why this is, because it plays a part into the story as well as the formatting, but just know that it was partially meant to be there.

-Also...please don't flip ahead when you get the book. I deliberately wrote and formatted the book to do story reveals as you flip the page. My whole intent kinda goes out the window if you flip.

Do as you like though...I'm just saying if you want the intended experience...

-Also, if I owe you a commission... it's going to arrive a little bit after packages get delivered. I got hit with a couple of projects over the last few weeks, and haven't had a chance to sit down and knock off the dust on these pencils and markers. Once I get everyone their orders, I'll have more time to make sure I produce something dope.

Backerkit Update #3
over 5 years ago – Tue, Oct 02, 2018 at 09:08:28 PM

I wanted to update everyone on where everything is currently at.

I’m still in the process of settling my issue for the print job. They are “working” to rectify their mistake, but I was given a production date of mid to late November. In the meantime, I’ve just decided to go with another company. I’m still waiting on the final contract, but I was given a date of October 11th. So if everything goes according to plan, (as I am praying it does), it should only be behind for a few more days before I get everything sent out. I'll post an update on the official date once I sign the paperwork.

Again, I apologize for this inconvenience. As a sign of gratitude, I’ll be adding some extra merch in all of the packages as a way to make up for this mistake.

Backerkit Update #2
over 5 years ago – Tue, Sep 25, 2018 at 09:29:44 PM

Sup everyone,

Most of my books have been received. I'm still waiting for the hardcovers, posters, and stickers to arrive. However, I am dealing with an issue with the print job of this order. I've gone through a portion of the books, and a good amount have arrived with the edges frayed/torn. I asked the printer why this is, and they explained to me that the cause is likely because I have heavy spot black ink coverage on a card stock that is not laminated...even though I paid for the lamination. The fraying also gets worse when I open the book, as well as there being some scaring on the cover image.

At the moment, I'm waiting for their response as to what is going to be done to rectify this issue. I put a lot of time into the presentation of this product for it to look like this. This company was recommended to me by a colleague, however, I am not happy at all with how this looks, especially for how much was paid.

I apologize for this matter. I assure you I am working to get this taken care of ASAP. I will post the update as soon as we reach a resolution.

PS: There are also some orders that were placed after the preorder date, however, I have not put through those charges. There were a number of disputed charge claims that were made, which unfortunately resulted in a little over $600 in penalty fees on my end. Because of this, I will be waiting until I have the remaining stock uploaded to my online store. I do apologize to anyone who placed their preorder after the cutoff date.

Thank you/Update
over 5 years ago – Wed, Sep 12, 2018 at 01:15:22 PM

I want to first thank everyone for their support for Trill League over these past few years as well as the immense patience everyone has given me toward the completion of these books. This project has opened many opportunities for my career, and I'm grateful that many of you have supported my temporary drifts off-course to explore them.

I also want to thank everyone who placed their preorder. I wasn't expecting the sales to do as well as they did, which now stand at over 1,400 total book copies which will be shipping -- over a 300% increase from when this project debuted. I've put a lot of work into this project, and I'm glad to have these books completed to share with everyone finally. I'm also anxious, just because this book isn't exactly like any of the other material I've released so far -- it's going to be interesting to see how everyone receive it.

The exact counts for the preorders will be finalized this Friday, which is when all charges should be completed. There were a number of declined charges -- which I assure you -- won't be re-attempted. If you would like to keep your order, you can e-mail me to proceed with the order again. This is specially important for any T-shirt or Hardcover Books, as I'm only printing those items at the exact quantity preordered.

There are also a few T-shirt orders where mistakenly, the size was not asked. I sent out e-mails to everyone to whom I need their size. Thank you to those who already have sent in their responses.

Regarding my shipping schedule, my Art Books will arrive September 24th and Hardcovers, the 27th. I will begin shipping items that week. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you periodically check your emails for any updates from me since I will need to lock shipping information that week. Once it's locked, that is the address all mailing forms will print and ship. Tracking information will be provided. You will not be able to change your address once they are locked. As far as all digital preorders, individual links to download copies will be sent via email once I begin shipping.

Because of BackerKit's platform, I have to go through Kickstarter to send all updates, so I do apologize that some of you may be receiving two notifications as I start preparation for this launch. I have a few commissions to finish up for the upper-tier project patrons as well as a number of contractual assignments to complete while preparing for this massive set of orders to ship, so I will be incognito on social media for a while -- but if you need to reach me, you can use messenger or email ([email protected]), and I'll respond promptly.

Thank you,
Ant
